Two people and one pet have been found deceased inside a Scott County residence.
The Georgetown Police Department said investigators are conducting a death investigation after a man, woman and dog were found deceased from gunshot wounds at approximately 11:40 a.m. Tuesday. The bodies were found at a home on Secretariat Street, an upscale neighborhood in northeast Georgetown.
“Preliminary investigation shows no threat to the public,” Georgetown police said in a social media post.
The identities of the decedents have not been released.
