It’s days away from the four-year anniversary of the disappearance of a Hardin County teen.

Rosalyn Velazquez, of Radcliff, was 15-years-old when she disappeared in August 2020. She still has not been found but the Radcliff Police Department continues to search for the girl.

Rosalyn was last seen by her mother at Azalea Park apartments, adjacent to North Hardin High School, between Hwy 31-W and the Joe Prather Highway, at approximately 2:30 the morning of August 24. She was wearing a blue jacket with a “crest on the right front,” according to police.

A $10,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the return of Rosalyn. A Facebook page, Bring Rosalyn Home, has been set up by the family to help publicize the disappearance of Rosalyn.

She is described as a “Hispanic/white mix” with curly black hair and brown eyes. She stands about five feet tall and weighs 140 pounds.

Rosalyn’s disappearance was featured in the crime section of PEOPLE magazine in April 2021 where her mother, Sabrina Boozel, told the magazine: “My daughter did not take her charger. She did not take her ChapStick, which she never leaves home without, and she did not take her earbuds that go with her iPhone, which she never leaves without. She did not take any money, because she had no means to money. She didn’t take any extra clothes, backpack, anything.”

Anyone with information on this case is asked to contact the Radcliff PD at 270-351-4714.
