Danny Ray Hatcher, 54, of Horse Cave passed away suddenly at 1:13 PM July 25, 2024 at his home.
The Barren County native was a construction worker, a 40-year firefighter for Cave City, Park City, Lincoln and Wax Volunteer Fire Departments, a member and chief for 6 years of Tri-County Mounted Search and Rescue and a member of Jericho Missionary Baptist Church. He was a son of Isaac Reed Hatcher and Helen Ruth Wyatt Hatcher of Cave City, who survive.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday at Servant Valley United Baptist Church with burial to follow in Campground Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 1:00 PM Saturday at the church, and will continue until the funeral begins. Gravil Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Surviving in addition to his parents are his wife, Mecie Oliver Hatcher; two daughters, Joyce Brooks (Brandon) of Glasgow and Martha Hatcher (A.J. Hawkins) of Hodgenville; a son, Paul Hatcher of Horse Cave; a granddaughter, Tina Brooks; and many nieces and nephews.
