An Elizabethtown woman has died in a motorcycle accident on the Western Kentucky Parkway.
The Hopkins County Sheriff’s Office responded to the crash Friday evening at approximately 8:15 in the westbound lanes of the parkway near the 43-mile marker. According to WEVV.com, a witness told police the driver lost control of the motorcycle, but it was unclear why.
Killed in the crash was 36-year-old Tiffany Underwood. She was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The driver, 44-year-old Nathan Henderson, of Hodgenville, was airlifted to a Nashville hospital.
The investigation is ongoing.
