Drug task force search warrant results in arrest of Leitchfield woman, Grayson Co. man

A Leitchfield woman and Grayson County man are facing multiple drug charges following the execution of search warrant by a drug task force.

The Greater Hardin County Narcotics Task Force, with assistance from the Leitchfield Police Department and Grayson County Sheriff’s Office, executed a search warrant in the 300 block of Thomas Street on Tuesday afternoon.

While the warrant was being served, 25-year-old Tilley H. Darst, who’s home address is where the warrant was being executed, pulled into the driveway of the residence, according to the arrest citation. The vehicle was listed on the search warrant.

During a search of the vehicle, the citation states that police located pills, marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Darst was arrested and charged with trafficking in a controlled substance (more than 20 dosage units, drug unspecified), trafficking in a controlled substance (clonazepam), possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Also arrested was 27-year-old Edric Garcia-Martinez, of Grayson County. He was charged with trafficking in a controlled substance (methamphetamine), tampering with physical evidence, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Both suspects were lodged in the Grayson County Detention Center.

Additional charges are possible.
