
Craig Woosley, age 55, of Shrewsbury, KY passed away on Tuesday, July 9, 2024 at his home.
He was born on June 11, 1969 in Bowling Green, KY, the son of David and Betty Woosley of Roundhill, KY.
He was a 1987 graduate of Edmonson County High School. In 1998 he formed Craig Woosley Construction and became a member of the Lincoln Trail Homebuilders Association. A dedicated and hard-working man, he was a self-employed contractor specializing in ICF construction.
At the age of 20, he married his teenage sweetheart, Melissa Ann Logsdon. They were blessed with 35 happy years together.
He is survived by his loving wife, Melissa; two sons, Devon Woosley (Dana) of Bee Spring and Ethan of Shrewsbury; one daughter, Shalane Hale (Austin) of Shrewsbury; three granddaughters, whom he loved dearly, Reagan and Madison Woosley and Emberlynn Hale; one grandchild due in September; one brother, Jeff Woosley (Trena) of Roundhill; two sisters, Kim Bullock (Stephen) of Roundhill and Donna Taylor (Tim) of West Point; father and mother-in-law, Randall and Willadean Logsdon of Sonora. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
He was preceded in death by one nephew, Trent Woosley.
Graveside services will be at 4:00 p.m. Saturday, July 13, 2024 at the Nolin United Baptist Church where he faithfully attended with his family until his health declined. Bro. Shane Wilson will be officiating.
Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday and from 10:00 a.m. Saturday to 3:15 p.m. at which time we will move to the church for graveside services.
