A Daviess County man accused of driving under the influence and causing a wreck that claimed the life of an Owensboro woman and severely injured two others is facing new charges.

A K105 previously reported, the crash occurred on Friday night, May 10, 2024, in the 3400 block of Old Hartford Road and resulted in the death of 25-year-old Morgan Daisy Culyer-Foster, of Owensboro, according to the Owensboro Police Department. Two others suffered serious injuries.

Police determined that one of the drivers involved, 20-year-old Maddox A. Hall, of Utica, caused the wreck.

Hall, who was allegedly intoxicated at the time of the crash, was initially charged with vehicular homicide, DUI (aggravating circumstances), four counts of first-degree wanton endangerment, and leaving the scene of an accident/failure to render aid.

The case, though, was presented to a Daviess County Grand Jury earlier this month. The grand jury returned indictments against Hall for murder, two counts of first-degree assault, three counts of first-degree wanton endangerment, his second DUI (aggravating circumstances), and leaving the scene of an accident/failure to render aid.

Hall is being held in the Daviess County Detention Center on a $250,000 cash bond.
