A man has died in a car vs. tractor-trailer accident in Ohio County.
The Ohio County Sheriff’s Office said deputies responded to the crash at approximately 12:15 Thursday morning in the 3000 block of Hwy 231 near Cromwell.
The accident investigation, the sheriff’s office said, showed that a 2002 Buick Century, being driven by Gary Huxoll, of Madisonville, was traveling north on Hwy 231 when he collided with a southbound semi, being driven by Kenneth David, of North Carolina.
Huxoll was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Ohio County Coroner’s Office.
The investigation is ongoing.
