Kentucky State Police is looking for an Ohio County baby after a fruitless welfare check and the arrest of her parents on drug and child abandonment charges.

Troopers arrived at the home of eight-month-old Miya Tucker, of Reynolds Station, to conduct a welfare check. Miya was thought to be under the care of her parents, but police did not find the baby during the welfare check.

State police arrested Miya’s mother, 29-year-old Tesla N. Tucker and father, 30-year-old Cage C. Rudd, both of Reynolds Station. They were both charged with abandonment of a minor, possession of a controlled substance (fentanyl) and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Rudd was additionally charged with possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine).

Tucker and Rudd were lodged in the Daviess County Detention Center on $20,000 cash bonds.

Police said Miya has brown hair and green eyes.

Anyone with information on Miya’s location is asked to contact Kentucky State Police at 270-826-3312 or your local law enforcement.
