Grayson County Alliance Art in the Park was a rousing success as local artists helped raise nearly $7,000 for the food pantry.

The move inside Grayson County Middle School due to (the threat of) rain failed to dampen enthusiasm for the event as hundreds of art lovers converged on Leitchfield to see local artists display their talents in painting, ceramics, craftwork, and mixed media. The Saturday event raised $6,800 for the Grayson Co. Alliance Food Pantry to help feed food-insecure Grayson County residents.

“It was a fantastic show and the talent and skill in the room was amazing,” GCA Executive Director Debbie Childress said about the event.
