A suspect has been charged in the fentanyl overdose death of a teenager in Bowling Green.

The Warren County Sheriff’s Office said 22-year-old James B. Good, of Bowling Green, was arrested and charged with second-degree manslaughter and trafficking in a controlled substance (fentanyl).

Good’s arrest arose from an incident on Sunday, April 28 at approximately 1:00, when Warren County deputies were dispatched to a residence on Apple Valley Road, off Hwy 185 about five miles north of Bowling Green.

Upon arriving at the scene, police found an 18-year-old male, later identified as Vayden Forbes, of Bowling Green, deceased in the living room and a 17-year-old female in the living room unresponsive. Narcan was delivered to the female by the first deputy on the scene, according to the sheriff’s office.

She was then transported to The Medical Center at Bowling Green before being taken to Norton Children’s Hospital where she remains, according to police.

Good was lodged in the Warren County Regional Jail on a $100,000 cash bond.
