The Grayson County Sheriff’s Office arrested three Clarkson residents on drug trafficking and other charges while serving warrants.
Monday night at approximately 8:20, Grayson County Sgt. Jordan Jones along with Deputies Sean Fentress and Thomas Lane arrived in the 200 block of West Main Street in Clarkson to serve a warrant on 28-year-old Abby G. Carlisle, of Clarkson, according to the arrest citation.
Deputies stopped a Saturn Ion, being driven by 34-year-old Daniel T. Jones, of Clarkson, for a traffic violation as the vehicle left the residence where deputies thought Carlisle to be.
Through an investigation, police confirmed Carlisle’s presence in the home. Fentress then deployed K-9 Zeus around the suspect’s vehicle with the drug dog alerting to the presence of narcotics. During a search, police found methamphetamine.
Daniel Jones was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) along with the traffic violation.
Deputies then made their way to the backyard of the targeted residence and observed Carlisle’s vehicle, which had its dome light on and a warm hood, the citation states.
Police attempted to make contact with the occupants of the residence multiple times, but received no response, according to the citation. Deputies then forced entry into the home.
Once inside the residence, Lane located Carlisle and her boyfriend, 34-year-old Jeremy Hutcherson, of Clarkson, in a bedroom.
“Once Hutcherson was outside the room, he attempted to destroy evidence on the living room table …,” the citation states.
Carlisle then granted consent to search the bedroom she and Hutcherson had been in, where police located over three grams of methamphetamine in separate baggies, purple heroin and marijuana. Also found were multiple items of drug paraphernalia, including needles and a “kit for IV injection,” the citation states.
Carlisle and Hutcherson were arrested and charged with two counts of trafficking in a controlled substance (methamphetamine, heroin), possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Hutcherson was additionally charged with tampering with physical evidence, while Carlisle was served with the arrest warrant.
All three suspects were lodged in the Grayson County Detention Center.
The suspects all have lengthy arrest records.
