The ATF, a task force and Kentucky State Police seized a combined 12 pounds of methamphetamine and cocaine at a Bowling Green residence.
Through an ongoing investigation, the ATF, Bowling Green – Warren County Drug Task Force and Kentucky State Police served a federal search warrant at 643 Denali Street at approximately 9:30 Thursday morning.
During the search, police located eight pounds of methamphetamine, four pounds of cocaine, a bag containing various pills (yet to be identified), a half-pound of marijuana, a Glock handgun, four high-capacity magazines, and drug packaging paraphernalia.
Law enforcement also seized $4,834 in cash, a money counter and a 2014 Chevrolet Impala.
Police arrested 45-year-old Scottie Starks, of Bowling Green, and charged him with two counts of trafficking in a controlled substance (methamphetamine, cocaine) and possession of a handgun by a convicted felon. Additional charges, police said, will be filed soon.
Starks was lodged in the Warren County Regional Jail.
