Glenn Alan Jones, age 62 of Leitchfield, passed away Tuesday, April 16, 2024, at Springview Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Leitchfield. He was born on December 23, 1961, in Louisville, the son of the late John Paul and Lucille Johnson Jones.
Glenn was a veteran of the US Army and was very proud of his military service. He was a member of American Legion Post #81 in Leitchfield. In his free time, he enjoyed painting rocks to hide for children, golfing and walking trails. He also loved his cat very much. Glenn was a huge Cincinnati Bengals and Reds fan and a diehard Kentucky fan.
Left to honor Glenn’s memory, are his siblings, Craig Jones, Steve Jones and Rhonda Nelson (Timothy); his nieces and nephews, Ashley Kappell, Dylan Milliner, Jonathan Jones, Steven Jones, Damon Jones, Benjamin Nelson, Gracie Nelson, Ashton Jones and Keaton Jones.
Glenn was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 20, 2024, at Leitchfield Funeral Home. Burial will be in Leitchfield Memory Gardens. Visitation will be held from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Friday and again from 9:00 am until service time at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Leitchfield Funeral Home to assist with final expenses.
