An eastern Kentucky woman has been jailed after shooting and killing her husband.
Yolanda Lomeli, 59, of London, was arrested by the Laurel County Major Crimes Task Force on Monday night.
According to the London Police Department, Lomeli called 911 Monday night at approximately 7:40 and said she had just shot her husband, Manuel Lomeli Jr. When police arrived, they found Lomeli Jr. deceased from a gunshot wound.
The suspect was arrested without incident and lodged in Laurel County Corrections where she’s been charged with murder and tampering with physical evidence. She’s being held on a $250,000 cash bond.
