Two people in Ohio County have been arrested with “bags” of methamphetamine, steroids and mushrooms, according to Kentucky State Police.
The arrests came Saturday afternoon at approximately 3:00 when a search warrant was executed by troopers in the 400 block of Kentucky Street in Beaver Dam.
During a search of the residence, state police said troopers located bags of methamphetamine, anabolic steroids, psychedelic mushrooms, suboxone strips, a variety of pills, a large amount of currency, marijuana, drug-related equipment, firearms, and drug paraphernalia.
Troopers arrested 46-year-old Jeramey A. Hawkins, of Beaver Dam, and charged him with two counts of trafficking in a controlled substance (methamphetamine, drug unspecified), two counts of possession of a controlled substance (anabolic steroids, hallucinogen), possession of a handgun by a convicted felon, prescription drug not in its proper container, tampering with physical evidence, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Also arrested was 42-year-old Jessica L. Robinson, of Louisville. She was charged with possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Both suspects were lodged in the Ohio County Detention Center.
