An Ohio County man with arrest warrants and over 20 arrests since 2000 has been found hiding underneath a truck.

On Friday, the Ohio County Sheriff’s Office, Kentucky State Police and ATF executed a search warrant “in the area of Duff Road” near Beaver Dam, Ohio County Sheriff Adam Wright said. Upon arriving at the scene, police found 59-year-old Barry L. Maiden, of Beaver Dam, hiding “under a truck outside of the residence.”

Maiden, “a multi-time convicted felon,” the sheriff’s office said, has been arrested at least 24 times since 2000, according to online records. He was sought for an outstanding arrest warrant out of Perry County.

Once entering the home, police located 52-year-old Kimberly White, of Beaver Dam, hiding in a closet. White had warrants for her arrest in Butler County.

“A further search of the residence revealed various amounts of methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia and firearms,” Wright said.

Both suspects were lodged in the Ohio County Detention Center.
