3 Breck Co. residents busted with large amount of meth, morphine, ecstasy

Three Breckinridge County residents are facing drug charges following an investigation by multiple law enforcement agencies.

Arrested on Friday night by Breckinridge County deputies, the Greater Hardin County Narcotics Task Force and Meade County Sheriff’s Office were 48-year-old Lanny S. Batchelder, of Irvington, 46-year-old Erika M. Walker, of Irvington and 41-year-old Kacie Morris, of Custer.

The investigation, according to WXBC.com, resulted in the execution of a search warrant at Batchelder’s residence where police found a half-pound of methamphetamine, morphine, ecstasy (aka MDMA), marijuana, and a firearm.

Batchelder and Walker were charged with two counts of trafficking in a controlled substance (methamphetamine, drug unspecified), trafficking in marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Batchelder was additionally charged with possession of a handgun by a convicted felon.

Morris was charged with possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) and possession of drug paraphernalia.

All the suspects were lodged in the Breckinridge County Detention Center.
