Joy Gene Davis, 85, of Brownsville passed away Jan. 12, 2024, at The Medical Center at Bowling Green.
The Edmonson County native was a dump truck driver for Scotty’s Construction. He was a son of the late Mose Davis and Bessie Jane Blanton Davis. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Norman Davis, Kerman Davis and Paul Daniel Davis.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Thursday at Gravil Funeral Home with burial to follow in Dit Vincent Cemetery. Visitation will take place 3-7 PM Tuesday, 10:00 AM-7:00 PM Wednesday and after 10:00 AM Thursday.
Surviving are his wife, Vickie Webb Davis; a daughter, Melissa Basham (Brent) of Roundhill; three grandsons, Joey Basham, Jonathan Basham and Jordan Basham; two nieces; two nephews; and several great nieces and nephews.
