A teenager was killed and another seriously injured in a single-vehicle crash in Scottsville.
Kentucky State Police said troopers responded to the accident in the 3600 block of Old Hartsville Road Saturday night at approximately 9:30.
The preliminary investigation showed that a 16-year-old male, of Scottsville, was driving a 2007 Nissan Altima when he lost control and left the roadway. The vehicle then overturned and struck a tree.
The driver was pronounced deceased at the scene. A 17-year-old female passenger was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
The investigation is being led by Trooper Grant Robertson.
