A person taking an RV on a test drive crashed on Owensboro Road (Hwy 54) near Short Creek.

Wednesday night at approximately 8:25, Grayson County Deputy Andy Cast and Sgt. Erik Franklin, the Falls of Rough Fire Department, Emergency Management Director Carey Sims and Deputy Director Blake Schroerlucke, and EMS responded to the accident in the 9900 block of Owensboro Road.

Based on marks at the scene, the right wheels of the westbound, 38-foot Holiday Rambler Endeavor Series RV dropped off the road, leading the vehicle to travel down an embankment and into a ditch. The RV traveled about 150 feet in the ditch before flipping onto its side.

The vehicle was being test-driven by a Louisville woman at the time of the crash. The male owner of the vehicle was a passenger. No one suffered injuries, but the owner of the 2000 model RV reportedly went to a hospital in Louisville as a precaution.
