John Norman Spainhoward Jr., 75, of Glasgow passed away peacefully with family at his side at Shanti Niketan Hospice in Glasgow.
The Edmonson County native was a 1966 graduate of ECHS and was a mechanical engineer for Detrex, Pan Oston and Halton. He was a son of the late John Norman Spainhoward Sr. and Flora Marie Lindsey Spainhoward. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Frank Spainhoward, Richard Spainhoward and Danny Spainhoward.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM Monday at Gravil Funeral Home with burial to follow in Brownsville Cemetery. Visitation will take place 12-7 PM Sunday and after 9:00 AM Monday.
Surviving are his wife, Pamela Gay Woodcock Spainhoward; a son, Sean Lee Spainhoward of Glasgow; two brothers, Gary Lewade Spainhoward (Vickie) of Plano and Vertran Spainhoward (Linda) of Lindseyville; and several nieces and nephews.
