The identity of a woman found deceased in a roadside ditch in southern Bullitt County has been released.

The body of 42-year-old Patricia England was found by a man riding a bike on Coral Ridge Road near the Brooks Road intersection at approximately 5:15 on the evening of November 9. England’s body was located between Coral Ridge Road and a dense treeline.

England’s manner of death has been “classified as a homicide,” Bullitt County Sheriff Walt Sholar said. The sheriff said when the body was discovered that investigators believed England was killed at another location and placed on the side of the road.

Anyone with information on England’s whereabouts on the days before November 9, “or her associations,” are asked to contact the Bullitt County Sheriff’s Office at 502-543-2514, or the sheriff’s office’s crime tip line 502-543-1262, or crimetip@bcky.org.
