Several students were injured after a Breckinridge County school bus was involved in a head-on collision.

The accident occurred Monday afternoon at approximately 3:20 in the 800 block of Rosetta Corners Road, about three miles northwest of Custer, Breckinridge County Schools Superintendent Dr. Nick Carter told WXBC.com

Carter told the news outlet that the school bus was struck head-on. Four students, who suffered apparently minor injuries, were transported to a hospital. A passenger in the vehicle was airlifted from the scene.
