Kentucky State Police is investigating after a Bell County inmate died.
Troopers responded Monday evening at approximately 5:15 to the Bell County Detention Center after a male inmate was found deceased, according to Trooper Shane Jacobs, Public Affairs Officer for KSP Post 10 in Harlan.
The identity of the man has not been released.
Kentucky State Police and the Bell County Coroner’s Office are leading the investigation.
No other information was released.
