Police in Breckinridge County are searching for a man arrested at least 10 times since October 2021.
The Breckinridge County Sheriff’s Office is searching for 26-year-old Brandon P. Dowell. Dowell has been arrested at least 10 times in two years on theft, drug and escape charges.
Dowell was jailed in August of this year for theft by unlawful taking, receiving stolen property, possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) and third-degree escape, according to online records. He was also arrested in September on a contempt of court charge.
Sheriff Billy Richardson told WXBC.com that he is urging residents to lock their doors and keep property secured.
Dowell is five feet, seven inches tall and weighs about 150 pounds. He has brown hair and blue eyes.
Richardson said Dowell is likely on foot and has been known to frequent the Garfield area.
