A man is facing drug charges after being found passed out in a vehicle in a cornfield.

Ohio County Sheriff Adam Wright said that on Thursday deputies responded to a suspicious person complaint in the 4300 block of Hwy 231 north, about six miles southeast of Beaver Dam.

Upon arriving at the scene, police located 40-year-old Christopher L. Brown, of Livermore, “passed out in his vehicle in a cornfield,” Wright said. Deputies observed a pipe containing methamphetamine in plain sight inside the vehicle.

During a search, deputies found additional methamphetamine in Brown’s vehicle.

He was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) and possession of drug paraphernalia and lodged in the Ohio County Detention Center.
