Kentucky State Police is investigating a double murder in eastern Kentucky.
Troopers responded Friday afternoon at approximately 1:00 to a residence in the 2800 block of Hwy 292 in the Belfry community in Pike County. Upon arriving at the home, police found two people deceased from gunshot wounds and another person injured, according to news outlets.
A vehicle was also stolen from the home but has since been recovered.
Three people suspected of being involved in the double murder have been taken into custody in Lewis County on unrelated charges. Officials said charges connected to the murders are pending.
The names of those arrested as well as the identities of those killed and injured have not yet been released.
