A motorist choking on a french fry crashed into a business in Henderson.

The Henderson Police and Fire Departments responded to the accident Sunday morning at approximately 11:00 at Enterprise Rent-A-Car in the 2000 block of Hwy 41 north.

Upon arriving, first responders found that a driver had purchased french fries from McDonald’s and began to choke on a fry. The choking driver lost control of the vehicle as it crashed into the building. No one was inside the business at the time of the wreck.

“Of course, they were pretty shook up, but they just had small lacerations,” Henderson Police Sgt. Bill Russel told WFIE.com. “The vehicle was already in park before they got out, airbags were deployed and they were transported to Henderson hospital.”
