A Clarkson man wanted on a theft warrant out of Grayson County has been arrested after police responded to a suspicious person complaint.

Leitchfield Police Department Sgt. DJ Newton, Officers Brian Jennings and Hunter Miller and Grayson County Sgt. Jordan Jones and Deputy Thomas Lane responded to the complaint in the area of South Cannon Drive at approximately 10:30 Tuesday night. Upon arriving, officers made contact with 27-year-old Troy Blair, who was walking near South Cannon Drive, behind the old Grayson County Sheriff’s Office.

Blair was found to have an active arrest warrant for theft by unlawful taking. He was arrested and lodged in the Grayson County Detention Center.

Blair has been arrested several times, including three times in 14 months in 2018 and 2019 for third-degree terroristic threatening (after threatening someone with a knife), fleeing or evading police (on foot), and possession of methamphetamine.

In 2020, Blair was jailed again on methamphetamine possession charges after being found with the drug at an Old Leitchfield Road residence during the execution of a search warrant by multiple law enforcement agencies investigating a stolen vehicle and stolen car parts ring.
