A Campbellsville man has been killed after being ejected during a crash on a UTV.
Kentucky State Police said the accident occurred Monday morning at approximately 3:30 on Hatcher Road, about one mile southwest of Campbellsville.
The preliminary investigation, state police said, showed that 42-year-old Joseph Bott was traveling west in a Honda Pioneer UTV on Hatcher Road when he failed to negotiate a curve and left the roadway. The Honda overturned, ejecting Bott from the vehicle.
He was transported to Taylor Regional Hospital where he was later pronounced deceased. A passenger, 42-year-old Jeremy Wood, of Campbellsville, was airlifted to University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center with serious injuries.
