A man suffered injuries after a truck vs. motorcycle accident at the bridge construction site on Millerstown Street in Clarkson.
Grayson County Sheriff’s Office Sgt. Jordan Jones and Deputies Sean Fentress and Andy Cast, the Clarkson Fire Department and EMS responded to the accident at approximately 8:00 Thursday night.
The investigation showed that an eastbound motorcycle, being driven by 44-year-old Anthony Nugent, of Grayson County, was slowing down at the bridge construction site as the light turned from green to red, police said.
A Ford F-150 traveling behind the motorcycle did not brake quickly enough, striking the motorcycle and tossing Nugent 15 to 20 feet off the bike.
Nugent was transported by EMS to Owensboro Health Twin Lakes Medical Center with minor injuries.
