Billy Gene Lee, age 66, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Sunday, (August 20, 2023) at his home. He was born on November 30, 1956 in Short Creek, KY, the son of the late Elmer and Annie Corinne Burden Lee.
He was a retired masonry worker. He enjoyed drag racing, cruising town, attending car shows, fishing and hunting. He also enjoyed spending time with his family and grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara McMahan Lee of Leitchfield; children, Tabatha Meredith (Clayton) of Leitchfield, Brian Lee of Leitchfield, Brandy Lee of Hodgenville, Sondra Cook (Heath) of Leitchfield, Brittany Dunn (Jeremy) of Elizabethtown, and Kyle Lee (Whitney) of Elizabethtown; grandchildren, Maggie, Eli, Austin, Dalton, Mollie, Tyler, Lexus, CJ, Brandon, Tierra, Cinch, Gracelyn, Daisy, Addison, and Kohen; great-grandchildren, Carter, Realyn, Brayden, Ganton
Alex, Waylon, Bentley, Aisley, and one on the way; two brothers, Randy Lee and Charles (Rabbit) Lee (Brenda); and several nieces and nephews.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Phillip William Lee.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, (August 24, 2023) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Rick Earley will be officiating. Burial will be in the New Hope Cemetery on Hwy 79.
Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday and from 9:00 a.m. Thursday until time of services.
