Three people were injured when a vehicle crashed into a Taco Bell in Frankfort.

The incident occurred Friday afternoon at approximately 3:30 on Versailles Road when two cars made contact with one another, with one of the cars crashing into the restaurant, Kentucky State Police said.

Three people were eating in the restaurant, including one child, who was airlifted from the scene to an unknown hospital.

No employees were injured.

“It was traumatic for our people. We went in, made sure we got the store cleaned up, got all those people out of here, sent them home, made sure they got anything they needed,” Taco Bell employee Shane Bancroft told WKYT.com.
