A Grayson County man has been arrested after absconding from parole.

Monday evening at approximately 7:00, Grayson County Deputy Sean Fentress arrested 22-year-old Mylan Salsman, of Big Clifty, at a residence in the 700 block of Hardin Springs Road. Salsman was wanted for absconding from parole after being convicted of receiving stolen property in August 2022, according to the Kentucky Department of Corrections.

That conviction arose after Salsman, in May 2020, was arrested twice within seven hours after he stole two cars from a Mill Street business parking lot.

Salsman was previously arrested for violating his parole by the Grayson County Sheriff’s Office on May 31, 2023, at a Clarkson apartment complex.
