A woman is dead and a man has been charged with her murder after a vehicle vs. ATV crash in Montgomery County.
The wreck occurred early Sunday morning on Hwy 231 south when a vehicle being driven by 34-year-old Chad Hostetler, of Jeffersonville (Montgomery Co.), collided with an ATV, being operated by 32-year-old Andrea Willoughby, of Montgomery County.
Hostetler fled the scene while the victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Hostetler was arrested a short time after the wreck. The arrest citation, according to WKYT.com, said that he admitted to drinking prior to driving.
He was charged with vehicular homicide while under the influence, DUI (aggravating circumstances) and leaving the scene of an accident. Hostetler was lodged in the Montgomery County Detention Center.
