Law enforcement in western Kentucky is in search of a man who has been arrested 14 times prior.

In a Facebook post, the Hopkinsville Police Department requested the public’s assistance in locating 26-year-old Earl Cook Jr.

Cook Jr. is wanted for attempted assault of a police officer, evading police, criminal mischief, and several other charges.

The department says that he has been arrested 14 times prior in Kentucky alone and that does not include potential arrests in other states.

Cook Jr. reportedly has a history of assaulting officers, so they ask the public to not contact him directly and instead give a tip to the department.
