The body of Hardin County man who went canoeing on Nolin River Lake has been recovered.

The body of Bryan Henderson, 37, of Glendale, was found Wednesday morning at 5:30 in Valley Creek, just before it merges with Nolin River Lake, Hardin County Emergency Management Director Joey Scott told The News-Enterprise.

Henderson was last seen alive Saturday around 5:00 p.m. He was reported missing Monday by his family after he failed to return from canoeing. His canoe was located Monday but a search for the missing man was suspended due to dangerous river conditions caused by heavy rains.

His cause of death has not yet been determined.

Multiple agencies assisted in the search, including Hardin County Search and Rescue, the Hardin County Sheriff’s Office, the Shepherdsville and Campbellsville Fire Departments, Hardin County Tracers, and Kentucky Bloodhounds.
