A Campbellsville woman has been accused of shooting and killing two people and injuring another in an incident last year.

A Jefferson County Grand Jury indicted 28-year-old Dayshawna Harris on two counts of second-degree manslaughter and complicity to second-degree assault for the deadly shooting that killed 40-year-old Vincent Miller and 28-year-old Shaquila Spratley on September 17, 2022, in Shively.

Another person, a female in her 20s who has not been publicly identified, was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries after also being shot.

The Shively Police Department told WDRB.com that the shootings took place at about 6:30 a.m. on Dixie Highway, near Appleton Lane.

Police said at the time that the shootings were not random, but the indictment does not expound on Harris’ alleged motive.

Harris was arrested Tuesday in Campbellsville and remains lodged in the Taylor County Detention Center.
