Two bodies were found in two days in Knox and Floyd counties.
Kentucky State Police said troopers responded Sunday to a home in Martin in Floyd County after a deceased female was found.
The initial investigation showed that 39-year-old Amber Spradlin, of Prestonsburg, “suffered life-threatening injuries as a result of suspected foul play,” state police said. She was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Floyd County Coroner’s Office.
KSP Det. Justin Wireman is leading the investigation.
On Monday evening at approximately 6:30, a body was found on Hall Circle in Knox County, according to media outlets. The cause of death is currently unknown. The decedent’s identity has not yet been released.
The body was transported to the state Medical Examiner’s Office in Frankfort for an autopsy.
