A Lincoln County man has been sentenced to over 24 years in federal prison for “enticing a minor to engage in sexually explicit conduct for the purpose of producing child pornography,” according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Kentucky.

Sean R. Reardon, 30, of Stanford, was recently sentenced to 292 months (24.3 years). According to his plea agreement, Reardon met the juvenile victim in fall 2019 and in early 2020 he began communicating with the victim via Snapchat.

Reardon admitted he had sexual contact with the victim, at his home and other locations, between July 2021 and March 2022, and that he captured pictures and videos of the encounters, prosecutors said.

Reardon also admitted that he and the victim exchanged sexually explicit videos through Snapchat and Google Duo.

Reardon pled guilty in February.

Under federal law, he must serve 85 percent of his prison sentence.  Upon his release from prison, he will be under the supervision of the U.S. Probation Office for 10 years.

The investigation was conducted by the FBI and Kentucky State Police.
