A wanted felon and another man with a parole violation warrant have been arrested at a Clarkson apartment complex.

Tuesday night at approximately 10:15, Grayson County Sheriff’s Office Sgt. Erik Franklin and Deputies Sean Fentress and Andy Cast developed information that led them to the two suspects at Aaronwood Apartments at 328 North Patterson Street.

Upon arriving at the scene, deputies made contact with and arrested 40-year-old Tony E. Dupin, of Clarkson, and 22-year-old Mylan Salsman, of Big Clifty.

Dupin, according to the Kentucky Department of Corrections, absconded from parole after his conviction in Grayson County in November 2021 for possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was also wanted on two warrants.

Dupin is on parole until November 2024.

Salsman was wanted on a parole violation warrant.

Salsman, in May 2020, was arrested twice within seven hours after he stole two cars from a Mill Street business parking lot.

Both suspects were lodged in the Grayson County Detention Center.
