Larry Clark, age 70, of Leitchfield, Kentucky, passed away peacefully at his home on May 19, 2023. He was born on September 4, 1952 in Hardinsburg, Kentucky to Carol and the late Audra Clark.
Larry was a veteran truck driver, driving well over five million miles in his fifty-year career. He was the co-owner/operator of Clark Brothers Transport, a business he owned with his brother. Larry enjoyed collecting toys, particularly John Deere,
and pranking his friends and family. If you were ever on the receiving end of a sarcastic comment or quick-witted remark, Larry considered you his friend. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
He is survived by his wife of fifty-one years, Linda Cannon Clark; mother, Carol Bratcher Clark, of Leitchfield; four children, Chris (Angela) Clark, Amy (Brad) Schlosser, Will (DeLana) Clark and Ann (Jim) Nelson all of Leitchfield. Larry was
the proud Granddad of nine, including Corvain, Canon, Abby, Justin, Callie, Avery, Rhyan, Silas and Sawyer.
He was preceded in death by his father, Audra Clark, and brother, Barry Clark.
Funeral mass will be held at 1:00 p.m. central time on Thursday, May 25, 2023 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Leitchfield with Fr. Dave Johnson officiating. Burial will in the St. Joseph cemetery in Leitchfield.
Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield on Wednesday, May 24, 2023 from 12:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until time of the church service.
At 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, family and friends are invited to share memories and stories of Larry.
