The Grayson County Extension Office (GCEO) has announced the location of this year’s popular Farmer’s Market has changed.
Whitney Carman, Extension Agent, Agriculture and Natural Resources, said on K105’s In The Know on Wednesday that the Farmer’s Market will rotate locations this year. Formally, the market was held in the parking lot of the GCEO at 64 Quarry Road.
- This year, the market will be held on Wednesdays in the back parking lot of the Centre on Main, at 425 South Main Street.
- On Saturdays, the Farmer’s Market will take place in the front parking lot of Leitchfield City Hall, at 515 South Main Street.
Both locations are accessible from South Main Street as well as South Clinton Street.
The Farmer’s Market opens at 7:30 a.m. on both days and runs until “sellout,” Carman said, which generally happens around noon.
The first Farmer’s Market of the year is Saturday, May 13.
