Billy D. Carroll, 74, of Bee Spring passed away at 7:15 AM May 8, 2023 at his home.
The Edmonson County native was a lineman for Davis H. Elliot. He was a son of the late John Harlan Carroll and Dora Saltsman Carroll and the husband of the late Linda Eileen Carroll and the late Linda Marie Carroll.
He was preceded in death by three sisters, Agnes Wolfe, Eva Ellen Jaggers and Mance Coulter; four brothers, Jimmie Carroll, Franklin Carroll, Danny Carroll and Lannie Carroll; and a grandson, Mathew Carrroll.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday at Salem United Baptist Church, where he was a member, with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will take place 2-7 PM Thursday at Gravil Funeral Home and after 10:00 AM Friday at the church.
Surviving are two daughters, Deanna Meredith (Don) of Bee Spring and Amanda Simmons (Randy) of Chalybeate; a son, Bill Carroll (Lisa) of Bee Spring; a stepson, Bradley Chadwick; a brother, Denny Carroll of Mammoth Cave; and three grandchildren, Dakota Meredith, Brooklyn Carroll and Brittany Simmons.
