Leslie Traver Neighbors “Scrub”, age 32, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Saturday, (April 29, 2023) as a result of an automobile accident. He was born on December 24, 1990 in Louisville, KY, the son of James Nelson Neighbors and Brenda Willis House.
He was a concrete construction worker who really enjoyed his job and was very proud of what he did. He loved to play pool, fish and loved to listen to all kinds of music, especially country and rock. He was a member of Stoney Point Missionary Baptist Church.
He is survived by his mother, Brenda House, and his father, James Neighbors; son, Kason Blake Neighbors; brother, Travis Neighbors (Shae) and sister, Belinda Basham (Darrell); fiancé, Amiee Anglin; two nieces and two nephews.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, (May 2, 2023) at the Pleasant Valley Baptist Church in Broadford. Burial will be in the Pleasant Valley Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, with service following at the church beginning at 2:00 p.m.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the Dermitt Funeral Home to assist with final expenses.
