4 students, 2 adults injured after Jefferson Co. school bus turns into path of 2 vehicles

Four elementary school students and two adults were injured after a Jefferson County Public Schools bus turned into the path of two oncoming vehicles.

The accident occurred Wednesday morning at approximately 8:30 at the intersection of Hwy 42 and Seminary Drive, near Ballard High School in Louisville’s east end.

The initial investigation showed the bus turned left from Hwy 42 onto Seminary Drive, according to media reports, and in the process pulled into the path of two vehicles.

Four students were transported to Norton Children’s Hospital. The four students attend Dunn and Wilder Elementary Schools. Two adults were also taken to a Louisville hospital.

All the injuries were non-life threatening.
