A truck driver has been killed in Barren County in a single-vehicle accident.
On Monday afternoon at approximately 3:30, Kentucky State Police responded to the crash in the 6000 block of Nobob Road, about 12 miles southeast of Glasgow. State police said its preliminary investigation showed that 25-year-old Dea’ndre Q. Taylor, of Pinson, Alabama, was driving a 2023 International tractor-trailer north on Nobob Road when, for unknown reason, the vehicle left the roadway.
The semi then reentered the road and crossed both lanes of traffic before again leaving the roadway and striking an embankment, causing the vehicle to overturn.
Taylor was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Barren County Coroner’s Office.
