Kentucky State Police is investigating a deadly officer-involved shooting in Calloway County.
The Calloway County Sheriff’s Office requested state police investigate the shooting that occurred Friday morning at approximately 1:00.
Police said the male shot by the officer was transported to Murray-Calloway County Hospital where he was pronounced deceased by the Calloway County Coroner’s Office.
No one else was injured during the incident.
No further information has been released.
The Kentucky State Police Critical Incident Response Team is investigating.
