One Breckinridge County teen has been killed and another injured in a dirt bike accident.
Sunday afternoon, the Breckinridge County Sheriff’s Office, Hardinsburg Fire Department and EMS responded to the 4300 block of Old Railroad Road, about three miles south of McQuady, on the report of a dirt bike accident, according to WXBC1043.com.
Upon arriving at the scene, first responders found two teens, ages 15 and 14, were riding dirt bikes when the older teen’s bike struck the back of the 14-year-old’s bike. The collision resulted in both teens being tossed from the dirt bikes.
The 15-year-old boy succumbed to his injuries while the younger teen was transported by EMS to Owensboro Health Regional Hospital suffering from multiple injuries.
